Our instructors will diligently observe every student, enforcing good habits and techniques to assist trainees in successfully honing their craft. With a strict no negativity rule in every practice, we encourage our students to bring the positive impact and influence of our classes with them into their daily lives. As a professional, authentic, and family-oriented business, KMA Academy brings martial arts to children and adults alike. With the overarching goal to instill confidence and self-belief, the children’s program teaches authentic Muay Thai while training each child with the same respect and honor found at the professional level. The owners and lead trainers of KMA Academy, TJ and Daisy Johnson, are what sets our facility apart from other Muay Thai training academies. In 2016, after almost a decade of training and practicing in the United States, American Muay Thai fighters TJ and Daisy made the exciting decision to move their family across the world to Thailand, with the intention of taking their practice to the next level. It was in Hua Hin, Thailand where TJ and Daisy would have the opportunity to train under Petch-Tho Sitjaopho, a stadium fighter with multiple Thailand National Titles and Rajadamnern and Lumpinee belts. The Johnson family spent the next three and a half years dedicating their days and nights to learning the art of Muay Thai. Both TJ and Daisy fought professionally while in Thailand, with Daisy winning the title of Hua Hin Stadium Champ and TJ as a former #1 70kg Max Muay Thai fighter and a Tiger Muay Thai contender.
